How our preservation process works

Red Flowers

1

Make a booking with us

Reserve your date with us by completing the booking form below. Once submitted, we’ll confirm our availability for your wedding date and gather any additional details needed to personalise your service. Your booking will be secured once the non-refundable deposit is paid, and our terms and conditions of service are agreed upon.

2

Drop off/Send your flowers

Drop off or send your bouquet 1–3 days after your wedding for the best preservation results. The sooner, the better, as flowers begin to wilt, which can affect their ability to preserve and may lead to quicker colour fading over time.

Cherished Blooms recommend using Australia Express Post with guaranteed next-day delivery. This service has proven to be a reliable and cost-effective option. Click the link below for more shipping and flower care instructions.

3

Processing Time

Once your bouquet arrives, we carefully assess the flowers before starting any work. In the unlikely event that the flowers are too damaged or deteriorated for preservation, we will notify you immediately.

We fully deconstruct the bouquet and proceed with the preservation or photography process. It typically take 4-6 weeks to complete each piece.

4

Delivery of your frame

Pick up or drop off options can be discussed with Cherished Blooms for some areas in the Gold Coast.

For return shipping, we will carefully pack your frame and provide a tracking number once it has been dispatched. A flat rate postage fee of $180 will apply, with the option to add insurance for an additional fee. The return shipping cost will be included in your final invoice and paid together with the balance.

Frame and Glass Options

We use premium conservation-grade matboard and framing materials to ensure your preserved blooms are protected in a neutralised, acid-free environment, safeguarding them from environmental damage. Each frame is expertly constructed by handpicked, qualified art framers who uphold the highest professional standards.

Have a specific design style or frame colour in mind? No problem! All our frames are made to order, and we’re happy to accommodate most requests. Reach out to discuss your vision, and we’ll help bring your floral art dreams to life.

For optimal display, we use non-glare, anti-reflective glass with a specialised coating to minimise glare and reflections, making it ideal for areas with strong lighting. It provides an exceptional viewing experience, reducing reflections to less than 1%.

This glass also blocks 70% of ultraviolet (UV) light, helping to prevent fading and damage to your artwork over time.
